CFCC STAFF
At CFCC, we are dedicated to providing competent, compassionate, and affordable Christian counseling. We use an integration of Biblical spiritual principles and sound psychological concepts, in order to help bring comfort, healing, and resolution to troubled lives, while bringing glory to God.
Our staff at CFCC includes Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), LPC Interns (LPCI), and Student Interns. All of our therapists have a sense of ministry and integrity that enables them to provide hope for hurting people.
Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC)
A Licensed Professional Counselor is one who has a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, has had 3000 hours of supervised therapy training, and has passed the Texas State Licensure Board Exams.
Please see the Dona Benz web page
Licensed Professional Counselor Intern (LPCI)
An LPC Intern is one who has received a Master's degree in Counseling, psychology, or a related field, and is completing 3000 hours of supervised work before sitting for the Texas State Licensure Board Exams. We have two LPCI at CFCC (Please scroll down to Junie Harrison and BJ Perkins below).
Student Intern
A Student Intern is a pupil aspiring to graduate with a Master's degree in counseling or related field from an area institution. Students can receive education while using CFCC as their required counseling site. Interns are instructed concerning counseling technique, ethics, and professional conduct. They must be enrolled in a master’s level practicum class at a university, seminary, or college.
